HR Assistant - York, United Kingdom - Castle Employment Group
Description
We are currently recruiting for a HR Assistant to join an independent social change organisation in York.
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract that has scope to lead on to something longer term or other opportunities within the business.
This is a totally flexible hybrid working role to suit you, the only expectation is that you are based in the office at least once a week.
If you prefer to be more office based full time or 50% of the time this is also an option.
Some of the key HR Assistant responsibilities are:
- Maintaining confidential HR records, absence, changes, recruitment, and other information both manually and on the HR/Payroll system to ensure that appropriate and accurate records are kept for all prospective and current employees.
- Supporting the Payroll Team with absence and changes input onto the system and buying and selling holiday.
- Providing timely and accurate management information on request, including regular reports and audit data for inspections.
- Assisting with the administration of team projects such as annual pay awards, thank you vouchers, long service awards, SmartTech and staff surveys.
- Producing standard letters and documentation in terms of contracts, changes, and leavers.
- Supporting the HR Business Partner Team, processing Occupational Health Referrals for prospective and current staff and supporting the absence management process
- Supporting the administration of staff benefits
- Undertaking routine administrative tasks
This will be working Monday to Friday 9:00am -5:00pm, offering a salary of £25,279 (pro rata) you are able to take a shorter break for example if you have school pick up commitments.
