My client is a West Yorkshire based Top 100 commercial law firm, provide hybrid and flexible working as standard, and ensure their employees are supported both professionally and personally.

They have a fantastic opportunity for an Associate (from NQ and above) to join the Finance Dispute Resolution team, acting on behalf of financial institutions in contentious matters.

Their clients range from high street banks to niche finance providers and everything in between.

The team advise on the full spectrum of contentious and operational risk issues in the financial services sector.

This includes managed exit advice; secured and unsecured recoveries; fraud and asset-tracing; operational disputes and mis-selling claims; the identification and rectification of defects in lender security structures; and professional indemnity claims.

They also work alongside their Regulatory and Restructuring teams adding contentious expertise to manage risk in product and operational reviews and help deliver their clients' transactional objectives.

The successful Finance Dispute Resolution Associate will bring experience in dealing with contentious matters and a good grounding in property related issues.

Alongside this they want commercial awareness and a passion to understand their clients' strategic priorities, customer base and products.
