Role:


Clients:

  • Work closely with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to identify community investment projects to support
  • Attend client meetings when and where necessary
  • Assist the Community Investment Manager with social value reporting

Volunteering:

  • Coordinate Axis' volunteering programme from sourcing through to delivery

Fundraising:

  • Organise fundraising events for our charity partners, Demelza Children's Hospice and the Axis Foundation

Work Inspiration:

  • Develop relationships with local schools and colleges including the delivery of career talks, workshops and work placements

Communications:

  • Manage awareness campaigns as part of annual Responsible Business Calendar e.g. Volunteers' Week and Children's Hospice Week
  • Facilitate quarterly CI Champions meetings and support growth and development of team
  • Collaborate with CR&S Apprentice to promote Axis' community investment initiatives and share good news stories

Other:

  • Support the wider Responsible Business team with adhoc work/projects and events when required

Key Knowledge:


  • An interest in community, volunteering and fundraising and keen to gain an insight into all areas of community investment within Axis.

Requirements:


  • A degree or relevant work experience

Other Key Information:


  • Working hours 9am to 5pm Monday-Friday
