Job Title Material Controller

Location Nottingham, Monday - Friday 8:30am - 17:00pm, Office based

Salary £30,000 per annum

The Role

  • Maintaining purchase orders, data base for items and suppliers in ERP System
  • Reviewing production plan on daily basis to assess stock requirements
  • Creating reports for procurement activities as per required
  • Responsible for keeping data up to date for suppliers, products in ERP System
  • Providing support to Stores and Finance team with all inquiries related to supply of goods / services and relevant documents
  • Ordering & expediting all production consumables
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to supply indirect items or services as per requirement
  • Good standard of general education
  • Managing materials in an engineering and manufacturing environment
  • Able to maintain good working relationships internally and externally
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety and Quality management systems
  • Able to prioritize own workload
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office Package
  • Good understanding of planning, forecasting and inventory management
