Alter Domus is currently looking for Director, Sales & Relationship Management to join our growing team. Reporting to the Co-Head of Relationship Management

  • Europe, the Director, Sales & Relationship Management will provide Relationship Management for Private Market (Private Equity, Real Asset, Debt Capital Market sectors) client portfolio.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • You will Assist with the preparation and implementation of Relationship Management Plan for your portfolio of clients.
  • Develop and expand the existing portfolio of clients to offer both Funds, Corporate Services and Debt Capital Market products.
  • Identify new business leads on the local and international markets.
  • Follow closely local and international regulatory updates that affect the industries we operate in and in particular our clients.
  • Ensure prompt communication of new developments and business challenges throughout the organisation and the client base.
  • Work on proposals in relation to your client portfolio and new clients and new engagements. Your work will include scoping, costing, and initial client onboarding and interactions.
  • Achieve a sales target to be defined annually with your line manager.
  • Follow the bad debt recovery and escalation for cash collection for your client portfolio.
  • Proactively engage and grow the network of business partners and business feeders.
  • Comply with Alter Domus best practices and Code of Conduct.
  • Analysis of data and tracking KPI's mainly related to profitability of your client portfolio.
  • You will build your internal and external business networks, driving personal and business growth through a commitment of collaboration and teamwork.
  • You will be passionate about delivering a firstclass experience to clients. You will engage with clients continuously to understand their expectations, develop processes and take responsibility for our ongoing fulfilment of these and will promote and build the Alter Domus brand and culture both internally and externally, acting as a role model to our people, clients and customers.

TECHNICAL / EXPERIENCE

  • You hold a degree in either Management, Accountancy, Economics or Banking and Finance.
  • Experience working with a portfolio of Private Market clients.
  • Experience working in the competitive landscape within the financial services industry and overall awareness of the legal and regulatory environment in Luxembourg, UK, Ireland or Channel Islands.
  • You have excellent communication skills (active listening, storytelling, presentation skills, social selling).
  • You have excellent sales techniques (incl. negotiation skills and objection handling) and have building strong relationships with customers.
