About the School and role
Abbey School is an independent residential and day special school based in Chester for children and young persons aged 4-19 years with autism whom may have additional learning difficulties and behaviours that challenge families and services.
We are currently experiencing a period of rapid growth; our pupil cohort is increasing, and so is our staff team.
We require a Recruitment Officer to join us in this fast paced environment, to lead all operational aspects of the hiring process from working with Hiring Managers to advertise opportunities, shortlisting, interviewing, completing all pre-employment checks, to the onboarding of new staff.
This is a full-time role, Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00. There may be some flexibility around hours which can be discussed at interview.- An understanding of safer recruitment requirements
