About the roleThis Environmental Health Officer role is based within our Environmental Protection Team at Kettering.
This role is a career graded post and is an excellent opportunity for both newly qualified EHP's working towards their CIEH registration (Level 1), newly CIEH registered EHP's looking to gain experience (Level 2) and Chartered EHP's (Level 3) alike.
What will you be doing?As a qualified Environmental Health Officer you will be working within the busy Environmental Protection Team and will be responsible for statutory duties related to Statutory Nuisance, Air Quality, Contaminated Land, Environmental Permitting and planning and licensing consultations.
You will be responsible your own case load, dealing with complaints, inspections and enforcement.About you

As a brand-new unitary authority, we are creating a 'one team' culture which will be central to our future approach and will build solid foundations to drive service improvement.
This is an opportunity to be part of a new organisation and an exciting journey of service transformation.The roles will be both office and home based and will eventually be working across the whole of North Northamptonshire.
