An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time unit administrator to work with the Haemophilia Team at QMC Campus.


We are a seeking an enthusiastic team member with a passion for patient care, to provide administrative support for our small dedicated clinical team.


You will play an integral part in enabling the Nottingham Haemophilia Comprehensive Care Centre to provide a high quality service to patients, their families, and other health care professionals, whilst maintaining service efficiency.

Main duties of the job


You will work closely with the Haemophilia data manager, ensuring accurate and timely data collection and reporting, whilst providing administrative support for the wider clinical team.


You will be responsible for clinic management and audio-typing for the multidisciplinary team, whilst ensuring all verbal and written communications are dealt with politely and efficiently referring on to appropriate clinical staff as required.

You will assist in the day to day general administration tasks required to support smooth running of the service

The post holder will provide a comprehensive and administrative service to the Haemophilia team to assist the smooth and effective performance of their duties and make a direct and positive contribution to the work of the team, our patients and families.

The post holder must exercise initiative to organise their own workload within the constraints of defined deadlines.

  • Educated to GCSE level including maths and English at Grade C/4 or above

  • NVQ Level 2 or above in administration or equivalent
Experience

  • Minimum of 1 years typing & administration experience
  • Competent in use of Microsoft office systems

  • Previous experience of working with NHS IT systems

Salary:
The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
