A two form entry Primary school based in Haringey are in need of a teaching assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 1 Pupil with Autism within a mainstream classroom ASAP


The ideal teaching assistant will have previous experience working with ASD pupils - knowledge of PECS or Makaton are highly desirable.

The successful teaching assistant will also be responsible for ensuring the successful integration of the pupil into the mainstream school.

Ideally, you will have a calm nature, as well as a proactive and nurturing attitude.


This is a full time, long term role to start ASAP and continue on for the rest of the academic year.

Pay £88 - £100 per day


About the role:

  • 1:1 ASD Teaching Assistant working with a Year 4 student
  • Full time, (Mon-Fri)
  • Experience with ASD
  • PECS and Makaton not essential but highly desirable.
