I am working in partnership with a local business who have an opportunity to join their Newcastle Office as an Administrator on a full time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful family run business that is continuing to grow.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Meeting and greeting internal and external visitors into the office
  • Day to day office administration which includes updating records online, inputting & processing of invoices, producing reports, timesheet collation, inputting data, general administration
  • Taking responsibility for completion of tasks and dealing with any queries that arise
  • Ensuring all HR files are complete & fully compliant.
  • General Housekeeping and ensuring the office environment is maintained to a high standard at all times.
  • Upload previous days work and input onto the system
  • Check cash variances at the point of input, rectifying any errors wherever possible
  • Check that all money is banked and monitor over/under banking's
  • Create bank reconciliation sheets for all depots and send to Accounts
  • Ensure shortfall sheet is kept up to date
  • Transmit work to breweries and leisure data, and clear errors
  • Send out Collectors work for the following day
  • Be the point of contact for collectors/brewery enquiries and other adhoc tasks/reports
  • Responsible for late collection reports
  • Weekend reports

Skills & experience required:


  • Good organisational skills, be selfmotivated and be able to work well in a team
  • Good communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Experience of working in a customer facing office environment
  • Ability of providing efficient administration support using Microsoft packages
  • Taking accountability for the management of timely records/files as required
  • Enjoy working as part of a supportive Team
  • Ability to prioritise daily workload ensure deadlines achieved and issues resolved effectively
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexible approach maintained in relation to duties as and when required
  • General data input experience
