Our Graduate opportunity - Kick start your career in Insurance:

We are looking for ambitious and talented individuals who show the potential to develop into high performing business professionals and will support us to reach our vision of aspiring to be the top company donor and giving £250m to good causes by 2025.

Together, we are building a Movement for Good to transform lives and communities, becoming the most trusted financial services group.

This opportunity is a 2 and a half year scheme that provides exposure to all aspects of our General Insurance business, allowing you to develop your technical expertise as well as professional and operational management skills.

We will work with you to enable you to reach your development goals and aspirations for your career at Ecclesiastical.

In return, we expect you to bring the commitment and drive to add significant value to the company.

"The Graduate scheme is a great opportunity to gain experience in a wide variety of business areas. You get to see the big picture and understand how all the different departments fit together. Most importantly, you'll make friends and contacts all around the business which has proved really valuable to me in my permanent role." Richard Butcher, Previous Graduate, now Senior Schemes Underwriter.

What will I be doing:

When you join
Ecclesiastical Insurance, you will receive a tailored induction and will be assigned a business mentor and buddy to provide support throughout the scheme.

The unique scheme structure combines focussed business placements in
General Insurance with exposure to other business divisions, where you will be involved in the delivery of strategic business initiatives.

Towards the end of the scheme you will have an extended placement in a focused role within
General Insurance that will draw upon your wider business awareness.

The expectation is that on completion you will move into a business management role and use this as a 'next step' towards potentially becoming a leader or technical specialist in our business.

As part of this scheme you will receive training and full sponsorship to complete the ACll qualification, provided through the Chartered Insurance Institute.

What can I look forward to:

You can look forward to on the job learning with hands-on experience, a key part of this is working on live business projects to help you build up your understanding of our core business and industry knowledge.
