The role:


As Head of Department, you will provide expert, comprehensive legal advice to individuals and / or companies on a range of specialised legal matters.

With at least 8+ years of post-qualified experience you will not only be able to:


  • Manage a diverse caseload.
  • Deliver high standards of client care and a firstclass customer experience.
  • Work commercially which is reflected in your case management and outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Achieve and deliver key outcomes both for the client and the firm.


You will be commercially astute, with the ability to engage with, motivate and nurture a high performing team and / or department to deliver key commercial outcomes.

Department Specific:


As Head of Commercial Property, you will be joining a well-established team undertaking a broad range of commercial property transactions including freehold and leasehold sales and acquisitions, commercial leases, refinance work (including portfolios), development land acquisitions and sales, and agricultural land transactions.


You will work closely with TE's senior management and partners to set the strategic agenda and tone for the department, working collaboratively with your colleagues to collectively achieve aspirational outcomes.


You will have the ability to forge effective and lasting relationships, both internally with colleagues and our clients and business partners.


Your personal and professional aspirations will align with and enhance our culture, fostering a working environment in which your team and the department can thrive, develop, and shape the future of Business Legal Services at TE.
