***: The role of
In-Process Dresser is to dress and rectify preformed products to data cards and visual inspection instruction on a variety of components orthopaedic and aerospace with the ability to multi-task. The role requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomet's principles of continuous improvement, customer-driven innovation, and a win first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Grinding, Glazing, Rectifying of Orthopaedic Implants and Aerospace Products for forging processes to Works Instruction.
  • Adherence to the relevant SOP's and work instructions.
  • Adherence to the Companies Quality Management system
  • Identify ways of improving productivity
  • Carry out rework where appropriate.
  • Identify and support Continuous Improvement activities.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Linishing with abrasive belts/Tapes working on front of contact wheel.
  • Knowledge/experience of hand Held air tools preferred.
  • Knowledge/experience of closed die forging preferred.
  • Ideally Effective at prioritising and organising tasks and activities.
  • Good communication skills and selfmotivated
  • Team player
  • Conscientious approach to work, with good attention to detail
  • Excellent timekeeping punctual and reliable

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE DESIRED


Minimum 3 years' experience in a Linishing, Glazing, air tool environment using belt backstands, experience in forging or casting environment preferred but not essential.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee could be required to stand.

The employee could frequently be required to walk; use hand to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.

The employee could be required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee could occasionally lift and or move up to 10 kilograms.

Specific vision abilities required by the job could include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
