Knutsford - Hybrid (2 days on-site)

Our client is looking for an experienced Cloud Project Manager to support delivery of complex cross-group strategic change in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in finance is an advantage.Key Accountabilities
- Driving the delivery of key strategic infrastructure programmes.
- Leading highly complex projects requiring facilitation and collaboration across organisational functions and RAID oversight
- Drive adoption of strategic infrastructure products (aPaaS, Private & Public Cloud)
- Infrastructure demand planning and forecasting
- Driving delivery of demand in line with requirements
- Supporting appropriate solutions and designs meet resiliency and stability requirements
- Proactively managing and reduce risk in the infrastructure environment, including stability, resilience, currency, and security risk
- Driving financial consumption optimizations levers to create capacity creation opportunities (increase ROI)
- Supporting change and release procedures, working with infrastructure, development and RTB teams
Key Knowledge and Experience
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience of project planning and management, and strategic change planning and monitoring, (supported by relevant qualifications) across multi delivery methodologies.
- Experience as an IT Project Manager based in Cloud Services.
- Infrastructure background and expertise
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Able to create a trusted advisor relationship with the stakeholders
- Ability to execute quickly and effectively strong influencing skills and ability to get things done in a complex matrix organisational structure
- Support business prioritization & backlog management aiming to increase delivery pace, identify issue themes & work with respective technical teams to improve service maturity and delivery SLAs
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and innovation
- Excellent decisionmaking capabilities including ability to flex from strategic planning to detailed execution
- Ability to drive a strategic vision and thinking and ability to carry peers and stakeholder on the change journey and perform detailed planning and execution.
- Proven track record of defining and embedding controls, processes and structure
Desirable / Beneficial Experience
- Finance Experience
- Strong understanding of infrastructure including containerization (Kubernetes), virtual platforms, storage, DBMS, networking & distributed systems
- Windows, RedHat Linux, VMWare & RedHat OpenShift technologies
- Design, delivery and driving operational best practices
