Job description


Deputy Head of Curriculum (DHoC) for Motor Vehicle

Where you'll work:

This role is based at the College's Gravesend campus, but the nature of the work will require travel to any of the College sites as required.


Your hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday), 52 weeks per annum.


Your pay:
Spot salary of £40,000 per annum.


Reporting to the Head of Curriculum, the postholder will have input into the development of the curriculum and the day-to-day management of the four state-of-the-art workshops, including the new purpose-built facilities at Hadlow, as well as being responsible for the supervision and coordination of curriculum activities.


This post is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about the motor trade, has the relevant skills and experience to teach young people and a desire to pass on their knowledge, whilst working to support a team and manage resources to ensure optimal performance.


The postholder will help drive forward quality and excellence in teaching and learning across the department, and will ensure that senior managers have access to relevant information in a timely fashion.

Under the Head of Curriculum's direction, the Deputy Head of Curriculum will help to lead a team of professional staff to achieve the College objectives, behaviours and targets as identified in the Strategic Plan.
