Duties:


  • Performs and/or assists other recreation assistants or management in the operations or maintenance of the bowling center.
  • Assign lanes (open and league), rent shoes and lockers to patrons, sells merchandise from pro shop, operates cash register rings up sales, receives money and makes change; sets up for special events, activities, or parties; posts announcements of scheduled activities and answers inquiries; takes inventory of authorized recreation supplies and equipment; assists in maintaining the inside and outside of the facility in a clean and neat manner; helps with group activities which require more than one staff member.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
  • This position is only open to applicants with PCS orders to a local USAF base or current UK work visa.
  • Must meet the state and legal requirement for sale of alcoholic beverages (18 years old).
  • This position may require the incumbent to work an uncommon work schedule, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

    Qualifying Experience:
  • Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules, and procedures, Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities are desirable; however, no experience is required.
  • Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to serve alcohol.
  • May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Education:

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
