An opportunity has arisen in the Safeguarding, Review and Quality Assurance Team, for a Child Protection Advisor. We are looking for a qualified social worker who has experience at management level.

As a Child Protection Advisor you will have a highly collaborative style and significant proven experience of effective partnership working in the area of child protection and safeguarding.

Providing specialist advice, you will chair Child Protection conferences and establish and sustain confidence, integrity and quality of practice.

You will support the Local Authority Designated Officer for managing allegations against staff and volunteers.

You will provide comprehensive, consistent, timely, high quality and cost effective child protection and safeguarding services to children (who are at home or in care) and their families in accordance with the legislative and regulatory framework.

You will support the Ealing Safeguarding Children's Board (ESCB), and support the implementation of the quality assurance framework, develop and deliver associated learning, development and training interventions.

This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role.

This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
