We are a Wireless and Network Security Distributor who prides itself on providing the best in breed technologies to the market.
Thisis an exciting opportunity for an experienced Wireless networking engineer to join a company that is inclusive with an excellent team culture.
Position Summary
Our client is seeking someone who can provide an excellent customer experience both in a pre and post-sales environment.
With a minimum of 3 years of experience, the selected individual will provide a wide range of value-add services to our customer basein order to allow them to thrive.
The principal duties will be:
- Be competent at conducting wireless site surveys
- Provide customerfacing support, both pre and postsales, to provide value add services.
- Provide postsales support for existing product sets within wireless marketplace.
- Provide technical design consultancy to endusers and resellers in multiple verticals.
- Assisting customers maintain industry best practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate development activities with a range of stakeholders e.g. sales team, line manager, purchasing, and customers.
- Work crossfunctionally with internal teams to ensure processes are lean and efficient.
- Conduct remote webinars, offsite demonstrations
We are looking for the following skills and experience:
- Knowledge of Wireless Design
- Knowledge of using Wireless Site Survey tools (preferably Ekahau)
- Knowledge of Wireless Networks
Experience:
- Minimum 3 year's experience working within a wireless technical role.
- Demonstrate experience with wireless technology configuration, site survey and installation works.
- A passion for working with people and the ability to quickly build rapport.
- An ability to translate complex technical language to a nontechnical customer base.
Skills:
- A team player with good interpersonal skills who can work under their own initiative.
- Ability to cope under pressure and prioritise work accordingly.
- Innovative thinker/problem solver with a strong critical thinking mind.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
- Must be flexible and able to accept rapid changes.
- Ability to drive effort under deadline pressures.
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Resultsdriven and committed to high standards of work.
- Must be willing to crosspollinate knowledge with the other member of the technical team.
- Ability to document technical problems and resolutions accurately.
Working Conditions:
- Position requires occasional travel across the UK
- Must have a clean driving license and own car due to rural location.
