Are you an individual, with a passion to share Brave Future's work with supporters in the community?We are looking for an Outreach and Education Officer to join Brave Futures.
To create and develop connections to community groups and organisations across the County in order to increase referrals into the service, raise awareness of child sexual abuse and break down barriers, with a particular focus on reaching groups of people who are frequently under-represented in therapy services including people from a Black, Asian ethnic groups, people who do not speak English as a first language, LGBT+ people, people with disabilities and people from other less advantaged social backgrounds.
The role also includes delivery of our education programme. This suits someone who has experience of and enjoys working with groups of young people. Understanding the importance education and information has on prevention and early intervention of child sexual abuse.The available post is for 37 hours per week; however, part time hours may be considered.
Salary - £25,000 pro rata
Annual leave - 25 days holiday plus bank holidays pro-rata.
