Proposals Engineer

Waterlooville

Up to £45,000 DOE
T2M are recruiting a Proposals Engineer on behalf of one of the nation's leading water treatment and hygiene companies.

This is an exciting opportunity suited to a hungry individual with the desire to progress and develop alongside a forward thinking andrapidly growing business, where will you be supporting the sales team in the preparation of quotations and proposals to win new business.


Key Responsibilities of a Proposals Engineer

  • Provide detailed cost estimates, sales quality drawings and bid support material for tender submissions.
  • Communicate with suppliers to enable accurate quotations.
  • Identify, develop and implement new efficiencies and methods for tendering.
  • Ensure bid compliance.
  • Provide process calculations to ensure specified plant and equipment are adequate.
  • Provide feedback in both pre and post proposal bid reviews.
  • Uphold integrity of CRM, inputting and updating quote details regularly.

Requirements to be a successful Proposals Engineer

  • Confident with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of cost estimations and sales quality drawings.
  • Project Management skills such as: planning, budgeting, and working to timelines.
  • A background in water treatment/hygiene.
  • Experience ensuring bid compliance.


This role would be based from the office in Waterlooville and will require travel between clients for site visits, so a full UK driving license is required.

There is a salary on offer of up to £45,000 depending on experience alongside other company benefitsto.
