We are currently recruiting for Environmental Operations Support Supervisor to join our passionate and driven team based at our client's site in Cribb's Causeway, Bristol.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensure that you are working within all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislative requirements, and procedural requirements as required by the Company and its Client.
  • Ensure all issued PPE is worn correctly at all times, any issues with PPE report immediately to your line manager.
  • Drive all vehicles in conjunction with the UK Road Traffic Act 1988 and Road Safety Act 200
  • Ensure all public pathways, entrances, steps, car parks, and hedgerows are clear of litter and debris.
  • Ensure the Service Roads are clear and Pest Proofed.
  • Ensure Vermin & Birds are Controlled and monitored and actioned where necessary around the site, by the use of the Bayer System and Pest Audits
  • Manage and support all external High-Level PPMs and ensure they are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Support the Grounds Team to ensure the correct use the of Hot Jet Wash machine, for general cleaning, i.e., gum removal entrances.
  • Support the Operations Manager on small projects around the site.
  • Support and attend the SUSCOM meetings and relay them back to senior management.
  • Carry out functions required within the site emergency management plan e.g., Fire Evacuation, Spill Kit Training.
  • Recognise areas where improvements can be made and inform the site Management/Client, report all defects that could lead to an accident occurring.
  • Use of a mobile device supplied for recording Work/Patrols/Audits undertaken.
  • Manage and report defects/reactive jobs that could lead to an accident occurring.
  • Use twoway radio equipment for communicating within the Control Room or site team.
  • Other reasonable duties as and when required to support the Business.

  • BPCA Bird Management

  • L2 BPCA or willing to obtain

  • Able to Function In Adverse Weather Conditions
