Salary:
£80.89 up to £98.89 per day

Tradewind Recruitment is excited to announce an opportunity to join a "Good" Alternative Provision Secondary School in Blackpool.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Sports Specialist Teaching Assistant to work closely with students in a supportive and engaging learning environment.


The Role:

As a Sports Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the educational experience for students within this Alternative Provision setting


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students in various sports and physical activities, fostering their physical and emotional development.
  • Assisting classroom teachers with planning and delivering sportsfocused lessons.
  • Providing oneonone or small group support to students who may need additional guidance in sportsrelated activities.
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment where students of all abilities can thrive.
  • Collaborating with the wider school community, including parents and staff, to ensure the holistic development of students.
  • Contributing to the school's extracurricular sports activities and events.

Requirements:


  • Relevant experience in sports coaching, teaching assistance, or a related field.
  • Passion for working with young people and a commitment to their overall growth and development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students in sports and physical activities.
  • Resilience and adaptability in supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Flexibility to work within a dynamic school environment.
