Reed Accountancy is currently assisting a growing organisation on the outskirts of Crawley who are seeking a
Finance Assistantto join their existing team.

This role will suit either suit someone seeking a career in finance looking for their first entry role, or someone already studying looking to widen their experience by gaining exposure to a high-volumemulti-currency business environment.


The business is hard working and fast moving so the ability to pitch in and get the work done is key to maintaining and improving our level of service.

The finance department provides information to meet business needs, as such a positive collaborative approachis key for all staff.


Key Responsibilities will include:


  • Bank, Credit Card and Petty Cash Entry and Reconciliations
  • Sales Ledger Reconciliations and Aged Debt Management
  • Purchase Ledger Entry, Reconciliation and Managing the Deposit account process.
  • AD hoc projects as agreed including general ledger reconciliations and participation in month end closure routines.

Person specification:


  • Numerate and detail oriented
  • Diligent, reliable, organised individual capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Active AAT studier and Sage experience are highly desirable
  • Driver essential due to location (plenty of parking on site)
