Skills/Qualifications needed:


  • Our client is looking to recruit a conscientious, organised, and confident individual to join our administration team, with a focus on answering phones, booking appointments, typing clinical letters and scanning.
  • Previous experience of working with electronic patient record systems Lorenzo and/or Systm One is advantageous but not essential as all training will be provided.
  • Previous experience of all Microsoft packages is essential.

Placement Details

  • Main duties of the job duties will include, but not be limited to:
  • Managing incoming calls and the answerphone, responding/directing calls accordingly.
  • Booking appointments and sending appointment letters
  • Audio typing clinical letters
  • Generating and posting various letters to patients, GPs and other third parties.
  • Scanning
  • Processing referrals
  • Liaising with other teams
  • Supporting Clinicians to maintain electronic patient records. MATS is a specialist team comprising of nurses, nonmedical prescribers, psychiatrists and often student doctors, and are supported by a strong and dedicated administration resource who provideessential support.
  • In order to deliver a modernised memory assessment and treatment service that has compassionate patient care and communications at its heart, we need people with excellent IT and administration skills, and a desire to improve the patient experience as wemigrate to a new electronic patient record system, from Lorenzo to SystmOne.
  • The successful post holder will be part of the wider MATS team and work under supervision of the Senior Administrator
