Overview of the Mixing plant operative
2fawcett are recruiting for a Mixing Plant Operative based near Ripley. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state of the art mixing plant with a fantastic team.

Whether already part of the industry, or ready for a brand new challenge, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the organisation and play a key role in the Mixing Plant process.

The Mixing Plant Operative will be responsible for the efficient operation and monitoring of the mixing process, operating a fully automatic batching system.

The role involves mixing various raw material ingredients together into finished blends, which supply our Extrusion department.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Observe all health and safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently
Carry out daily tasks in the mixing plant with consistent speed and accuracy
Operate machinery safely and effectively, in line with the correct operating procedures
Accept delivery of incoming raw materials and ensure the correct stock management process is followed
Ensure that all required quality checks are carried out as per the company standards
Understand and follow the production schedules
Ensure that mixing plant data is logged efficiently and accurately on the system
Work cooperatively with the team to meet customer requirements and team targets
