We have a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive contribution to the democratic process of our Council, who can drive modern and innovative strategies in relation to public participation and who has an eye for detail which will enable them to support us with our responsibilities in the area of information governance.


About the role


Working as part of our small but dedicated team you will provide an efficient, effective and comprehensive committee support service to the Council, the Cabinet and other committees, including scrutiny and support the Corporate Director in ensuring the Council's compliance with Data Protection legislation and other information governance policies.


To be successful you will need

  • A level NVQ3, or BTEC relevant professional qualification in administration or ADSO qualification (relevant experience can be considered as an alternative)
  • Experience of local government committee administration or alternative organisational/administrative skills
  • Experience of working in the area of information governance
  • Experience of taking minutes or notes of meetings
  • Experience of working effectively as part of a team
