Reed Procurement are delighted to be working with a huge Engineering consultancy business based in Stockton to recruit for the role of Buyer.

This is a recession-proof role, with an established market leader, where previous Buying experience is essential.
- £34,000+

  • Stockton
  • Hybrid working (2 or 3 days at home)
  • Fulltime and permanent

The role:

  • Manage the invitation of tender processes
  • Coordinate with the businesses sites to support general, Capital and Project Procurement activities
  • Promote compliance in line with the business procurement policies and best practice
  • Manage and develop assigned reports which clearly outline job and team requirements
  • Liaise with relevant departments in the prequalifications of all suppliers
  • Develop contracts regarding terms and conditions, strategy, structure and crosssite initiatives
  • Understand customer's needs and deliver excellent service

The Person:

  • Working towards or being a fully qualified member of CIPS (MCIPS)
  • Knowledge of SAP, MAXIMO, AX Dynamics, Q
  • Previous experience in a Buyer role
  • Right to work in the UK
