Finance Business Partner - Basingstoke - Up to £55,000 - Up to 15% Bonus - Hybrid Working - Capital Projects Team
IN2 Consult is currently supporting an internationally recognised, market-leading business in their recruitment of a Finance Business Partner to join their Capital Projects team.
Reporting into the Head of Finance for the Capital Projects team, this role is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with key stakeholders to collaborate on the production of new attractions globally.
The Finance Business Partner role includes the following duties:
- Business Partner effectively with the Project Delivery team end to end throughout the lifecycle of projects.
- Support in optimising project costs during the planning / costing phase and build phase.
- Design and deliver financial and nonfinancial analysis.
- Provide insight surrounding key budget, timetable and scope decisions.
- Take ownership of the financial due diligence on suppliers.
- Regular project reviews with Project Managers, identifying any potential risks and opportunities.
- Work closely with Project Managers to forecast monthly project costs.
- Ensure accurate presentation of project costs as part of the investment appraisal process.
- Present findings to Project Delivery team & Head of Finance in an appropriate format for nonfinancial stakeholders to understand.
- Review project commitments under the role's delegated authority and responsibilities.
- Action input from the broader project stakeholder group on assumptions that will impact the overall project costs.
- Ensure a comprehensive, timely and accurate project close and handover to internal clients.
- Fortnightly travel to the secondary office to collaborate with the team in its entirety.
- Part or Fully-Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
- Excellent communication skills with a proven track record of influencing and challenging key stakeholders to drive business performance.
- Ability to manage multiple workloads and the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Experience working within a fastpaced environment and meeting tight deadlines.
- Ability to act as a natural catalyst for change / improvement.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Experience working within projects.
