Mayor Ellesmere Port Attendant:


To ensure the Mayor of Ellesmere Port and their consort arrive at engagements on time, in the correct attire with chains and with correct information for the engagement they're attending and ensure their safe return home.

Act as toastmaster at Civic ceremonies and assist the Mayors PA at civic events and engagements where required.

Keep civic regalia and silverware in good repair and clean.

You will be the driver for the Mayor of Ellesmere Port, responsible for ensuring they get to engagements in a timely fashion and are supported during the events attended.

You will be responsible for the Mayors vehicle keeping it serviced and clean as well as they're chain and robes when worn.


Whilst the job is for 10 hours per month this is regularly exceeded, and the attendant is then paid overtime.


The contractual work location for this role is listed above however you may be required to work from a range of work locations or sites within the Borough and may also be required to work from home, depending on the needs of the service.
