This is a permanent position working 7am - 2pm over 5 days, Monday

Our client is a family owned, small independent butchers with an onsite bakery that has been established for over 100 years.
A bit about the role
The bakery role covers a wide range of responsibilities including
- Working alongside the butchery team
- Producing a wide range of pies, vegetable dishes, chicken products, scotch eggs, sandwich fillers and preparing buffets.
- Producing items to fulfil customer orders.
- Ensuring stock levels are maintained and freezer stock is replenished (following production plans)

- Calm and rational decision maker under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to manoeuvre up and down numerous stairs sometimes carrying heavy items.
As such the job holder will be expected to work to a high standard and ensure that the rest of the team do too.

They will complete a ten-week probationary period with fortnightly assessment.
For the first four weeks in post the Bakery assistant will work closely with the supervisor, after which they will be expected to work unsupervised.
