Description
Duties include:
HR Administrative support:
- Assisting with onboarding of new employees
- Maintaining the Time & Attendance system and providing reports for Payroll
- Updating and maintaining accurate HR data records
- Answering general queries on company processes and procedures
- Supporting the HR function of Vessco Engineering, our subsidiary in Bridgend, Wales.
Office Administration:
- supporting reception by answering the phone and greeting visitors
- management of meeting rooms (bookings and housekeeping)
- upkeep of office space, ensuring a high presentation at all times
- updating company notice boards
- ordering and overseeing of supplies including uniform, stationary and kitchen supplies
- assisting in organisation of social events eg summer gathering, Christmas party, occasional food trucks or other employee reward initiatives.
- managing and distributing Christmas and birthday gifts, Company Christmas cards
- organising and communicating regarding upcoming Company Update Meetings
- travel coordination including flights, hotels, taxis and itineraries
- point of contact for queries on MD's diary
Skills / Qualifications:
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent written communication skills
- No formal HR experience is required, but it would be beneficial to have experience working in an office environment
- Demonstratable administration experience, whether through work experience or a previous role
