We're looking for a
Site Agent to join our Major Projects Devonport department based in Plymouth, Devon. Within this role you can enjoy 26 days annual leave, sharesave scheme, family friendly policies and even more.

Responsibilities


As a Site Agent you'll be working within the major projects Devonport team, supporting them in managing the resources (people, finance and physical assets) in order to fulfil the assigned project(s) safely, on time and to the required quality while maximising customers' satisfaction and gross profit on projects.


Your day to day will include:

  • Programming works, commercial performance and the effective utilisation of resources to meet those programmes
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies and procedures in accordance with Kier other H&S related policies and procedures
  • Take full ownership and accountability for profit and loss in the project, ensuring robust control of target costs and actual costs incurred. This includes financial forecasts, forecast reviews, final cost & value review with Commercial Team
  • Ensure all labour, plant, materials and supply chain resources are accurately recorded

Who are we looking for?
This role of Site Agent is great for you if:

  • You have a relevant qualification (Management qualification / NVQ L3 / HNC / Degree)
  • You have a Chartership with ICE or working you are working towards this
  • Prior experience working with reinforced concrete, groundworks and civils essential
  • Able to take the lead with client interfaces and manage project delivery on technical and business aspects of team outputs, including excellent communication and project management skills including leading and managing technical teams within a competitive business environment.
  • Able to establish project requirements and drive the team to deliver the required outputs in terms of quality, cost and programme.
