April 2023) for all ages in their first year of the apprenticeship. The National Minimum Wage as appropriate to age is then paid for the remainder of the apprenticeship contract following completion of the first year.

About the role

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join our governance and legal litigation teams, providing effective, high quality, comprehensive and confidential dedicated support to the Service area.
  • The role requires enthusiasm and organisational skills and therefore we are looking for someone who can work across both our busy Legal Litigation team and our Governance team.
  • Are you interested in local community matters and improving resident's lives?
  • Do you have a 'can do' attitude? And can you work on your own initiative while recognising you limitations
  • Can you use a variety of IT programmes and manage your time?
  • Are you seeking an opportunity to develop your career in local government?

About You

  • No experience is required, just a desire to succeed, enthusiasm and a keen interest in the range of council functions and partnerships. The role requires enthusiasm and organisational skills and we are looking for someone who can work across both our busy Legal Litigation team and our Governance team.
