Account Director | New Business Development| West Kent, Hybrid

£45,000 - £65,000 base | £100,000 - £125,000 OTE

As part of their growth plans they are looking for an Account Director to join the team. A hybrid working employer, offering flexibility, role ownership a good basic salary and package plus realistic and achievable OTE.

As the Account Director you'll take responsibility for winning, fostering and cultivating new accounts.

With the support of account handling, creative, scientific teams you'll deliver a range of educational digital solutions through their online e-learningplatform.


The Job
The New Business Account Director will be responsible for identifying and securing new customers in the pharmaceutical industry. Consulting and offering a range of digital medical education solutions.

  • You'll excel in an outbound new business role, identifying and securing new customers.
  • Own your own strategic account plan
  • Deliver value to customers with impactful and innovative digital activities
  • Develop proposals/budgets.
  • Acting as customer success manager for clients, liaising with a multidisciplinary team to ensure each project meets expectation.
  • Delivering revenue against targets comprised of new business and account growth components.

What you'll bring


You'll have a proven experience in a business development / account director or management role with a record of winning, managing and growing customer relationships.

You'll be...

  • Results focused with a proven record of achieving results
  • Have an excellent attention to detail with the ability to be the handson lead of multiple accounts and projects to deliver profitably.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable working with high value sales and have a head for figures.
  • Previous experience and knowledge in medical communications, digital publishing/media, and pharmaceutical medical/ digital marketing would be advantageous.

Hybrid/flexible working is available and a base salary of £50,000 - £65,000 with achievable and realistic OTE of £100,000 - £125,000(uncapped).
