Samsung's Advertising Sales Team operates at the intersection of display advertising and connected televisions offering advertising solutions to help our advertisers reach their target audiences across our TV platform and beyond.

Using our unique first-party data this is a new initiative at Samsung with the potential for massive growth and opportunity.


We are looking for a person who likes early-stage opportunities and would like to join a rapidly growing team to help define the next chapter within a nascent hyper-growth advertising business.


Samsung Ads (part of ESBO - European Service Business Organisation) is responsible for identifying, evaluating and determining new opportunities on top of the global footprint of European Samsung Smart TVs.

The EU advertising team is working to bring value for partners, advertisers, and agencies through its unique insights into content consumption in the shifting media landscape.

Role and Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities


Responsible for STVP (Samsung TV Plus) Pan EU revenue across both TV and Mobile, this role will be a mix of strategy and tactical execution by optimising revenue opportunities across the entire European region.

By working closely with the senior leadership team, this role is to be the voice of Samsung TV Plus across Europe, which aligns across all the business units (from Financial Operations to Marketing), and supports the go-to-market strategies for the key EU markets.

Ideal skills - Advanced Programmatic experience and knowledge are a necessity.

This will be a requirement based on daily interactions with our technical partners (ad server/SSP/DSPs) to ensure revenue and fill rates goals are met.

The role also requires an ability to quantify and articulate the benefits and challenges of different strategies influencing STVP monetisation.

Roles & Responsibilities

External Evangelist (10%)- Work with the Samsung Ads marketing team to identify key events for public speaking/editorial pieces.


Internal Sales Leader (working with Country Managers) (25%) - Internal Focus- Align with and support the execution of each EU5 country manager's specific STVP strategy.

This includes ensuring each Country Manager is driving the STVP strategy based on the overall strategy to maximise revenue and fill rates.- An important part of your role will be to analyse the programmatic needs in each market and ensure client/agency requests are communicated internally to relevant senior management/partners.- Supporting the CSM (Client Service Management) Programmatic Team to optimise our incumbent IOs, SSPs, Agency Marketplaces and work with programmatic ops to optimise the waterfall to drive overall yield and fill rates.

SSP relationships/Indirect (15%) - External Focus- Your role requires you to be responsible for all PAN EU SSP relationships.

You will be required to maintain relationship building with current partners and explore new partnerships that align with the above-mentioned country-level strategies.

DSP Relationships (15%) - External Focus- Working closely with all major DSPs in the region to ensure awareness across the teams of our inventory and identifying/troubleshooting any potential reasons to ensure optimal revenue streams.

Revenue Strategy Representation for Internal Business Development/Product (25%) - Internal Focus

Working closely with different functional units within the ESBO TV Plus team:

  • BD Content Acquisition
  • Working closely with the team to answer revenue-related questions from Content Partners. Help identify gaps in content genre/audiences based on sales/client feedback. Help align country-level revenue targets with content strategy and keep teams aligned/updated on all progress.
  • BD Ads
  • working closely with the team on identifying new external revenue partners and prioritise any partnership requiring contractual/technical integrations.
  • Product Marketing
  • Help define STVP GTM strategy. Working closely to help set priority areas for the entire business based on all the interactions from internal/external partners. Be a non-biased voice to identify focus areas of sales collateral improvement for the entire team.
  • Product
  • Work closely to help optimise monetization on STVP, and provide the voice of sales. Eg Address the optimal ad break structure to increase revenue without impacting user experience.
  • Contribute to our data and measurement strategy with BD Ads, Ecosystem & STVP teams. Leverage external relationships to define which industry standards, solutions, inventory types, vendors and approaches should be adopted by Samsung.
  • Contribute to our ads product strategy, with best practices and recommendations for our 3P CPs
