Job Title:
Senior Support Worker - Children's Mental Health Service


Locations:
Wolverhampton


Make a difference to Children in our Care: Do you have your Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare, and looking for a new challenge in a Children's residential home, if so, we have the role for you.

Our home in Wolverhampton is a Children's residential home in the local community supporting upto three Children/young people with mental health and associated needs

Salary: £24,000 to £26,000:

-
Sleep ins paid at £60 with a potential of earning £28,320 - £32,320 if you completed an average of 6 sleeps ins a month:


  • £1000 refer a friend scheme (paid on completion of their probation)

Hours:
Average 40 hours per week (1 on, 2 off day rota)

Job Summary:


As a
Senior Support Worker, you will provide:


  • Leadership to the team always acting as a positive role model
  • Manage rotas on a daily basis,
  • Carry out and complete daily shift planning and handover
  • Provide effective supervision of your team in line with the Care Regulations
  • Provide on call cover as arranged by the Home Manager.
  • You will motivate, support and mentor the staff.
  • You will carry out an essential and varied role to provide the individual support required by the children and young people in our care, complete relevant paperwork, and where appropriate administer medication.
  • You will create positive relationships with the children & young people, meeting their needs and always safeguarding them

  • Experience in Residential childcare
    (Essential):


  • Qualified

    must hold a Diploma
    Level 3 in diploma for residential childcare or equivalent
