Teaching Assistant - South Birmingham
Teaching Assistant required to support a Key Stage 4 student on a 1-2-1 basis.

Are you a Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge within special educational needs? This vibrant special school is looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to joina dynamic team of Teaching Assistants and Classroom Assistants.

This wonderful special school with outstanding facilities and a friendly team, provides an excellent platform for children who face barriers to learning.

As a Teaching Assistant at this excellent school you will be providing 1-2-1 support for a Key Stage 3 or 4 child with Autism and associated learning needs.

This role requires a Teaching Assistant who has previous experience supporting young people with specialeducational needs. This role requires a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and experience working with Special Needs.

Job Role:

  • Supporting Key Stage 3 Boy 121 basis
  • Having a good understanding of MLD and Autism
  • Working as a Teaching Assistant / LSA
  • Taking part in whole school activities and making school fun, engaging and nurturing
  • Breaking down barriers to communication and managing behaviours
