Age UK are seeking a proven
Recruitment Lead (IT) to oversee the delivery of proactive resourcing services on a large project in our Digital and Technology Team.

Due to the technical nature of this role, knowledge, and experience of recruitingfor a wide range of complex and specialist IT roles is essential.


In this
nine-month, fixed term contract, you will match resource supply with organisational demand, managing all recruitment-based contracts including direct advertising, agency, and technology.


The Recruitment Lead will provide a full suite of Management Information to ensure the recruitment team can demonstrate benefit across the D&T Division.

Your role will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating spend and effectiveness within the recruitmentteam on the project, ensuring the team remain cost effective.

This is a hybrid role, a blend of office and home-based working. Our offices are in London or Ashburton, Devon.


Must haves:


  • Previous experience of managing IT/Technical recruitment campaigns, preferably inhouse
  • Account management or Recruitment Partner experience preferably inhouse
  • Experience in coaching hiring managers in interview technique and best practice resourcing
  • Proven understanding of all recruitment related legislation including an understanding of employment law
  • A track record of successful relationship building and delivering effective and innovative recruitment solutions
  • The ability to review and develop process and procedure and consistently identify areas for improvement
  • The ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
  • An effective communicator with the ability to negotiate and influence
  • Excellent collaboration and team working.

Ideally you will also have:


  • Experience of using the Talentlink system (or similar) back office and administration, designing, and developing recruitment processes and key steps
  • Experience of managing and developing a recruitment strategy organisationally.
