Shift Operator - St Fergus - £34,940 to £41, % Shift allowance

As a Shift Operator for St Fergus you will be a crucial member of the National Gas team and keep its biggest terminal fully functioning.

You will undertake routine operational activities and assist in the control and operation of the terminal to facilitate the throughput of gas flow nominations into the national transmission system.

In this role, you will maintain accurate site operational records for routine operational tasks and inspections undertaken which includes shift log entries.

You will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance activities associated with terminal, compressor stations, pipelines and above ground installation systems.

You will assist the incident controller and site main controller as required during planned / emergency situations whilst monitoring and controlling the security operations of the terminal.

You will need a good understanding of a terminal plant, equipment including aero derivatives and high voltage electrical drive machinery trains, gas blending, flow control and gas quality equipment whilst maintaining SCO 91 & 94 procedures at all times.
