Description
The Audit Project Manager (PM) is a non-technical team member who utilizes the Mazars processes and tools to effectively manage delivery to audit clients including activities and initiatives that drive efficiencies, reduce time/cost to deliver, with a focuson maintaining the highest quality standards.
The PM will work directly with the Audit delivery team including Partners, Directors, Senior Managers and Managers to drive project management and engagement coordination for key account client-serving teams.
- Project manage audit process for several key clients. Duties include preplanning, budgeting, fee negotiation support, resource scheduling (with Resourcing), ensuring review time and key deliverables are scheduled and timetabled dates are met.
- Track and enter new entities/ business opportunities onto SugarCRM with appropriate subsequent outcome, ensuring client data is accurately updated and creating codes & internal projects for subsequent audit work.
- WIP tracking, year to date performance, debtors, billing, code closure etc. providing insightful data analysis to support overruns, fee increase discussions and continuance decisions.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to Mazars' milestones programme so that audit milestones are me.
- Ensure client events are appropriately diarised and attended by Mazars staff.
- Relationship building with client staff.
- Assist with adhoc project work at the request of the account teams (both external and internal), tasks include research information and collate data for proposals, and minute taking.
- Independence
- Ensuring that new & continuing work is compliant with Mazars independence processes and there are no impediments to providing services.
- Coordinate team on site at client, as appropriate including access and logistics.
- Take responsibility for reporting to the Global Insurance team, as appropriate.
- Proposals support and completion of Bid-NoBid, Sugar compliance and Group Acceptance procedures.
- Lead the planning for Insurance team events (internal and clientfacing) encompassing feedback from leadership & staff, arranging events and meeting day documentation.
