I am delighted to be supporting a RIBA Chartered Architectural and Interior practice based in Sheffield, who deliver projects throughout the UK to the highest design quality.

My client works across a range of diverse projects with some of their recent workcovering Commercial, Residential, Education, Hospitality and the Student Accommodation sectors.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Technician/ Technologist:

BSc in Architectural Technology or an equivalent qualification.
A sound knowledge of the UK building regulations and planning policies.
Experience in AutoCAD is essential, and an understanding of Revit would be preferable.
Be design driven and have excellent technical skills shown through your portfolio.
Partake in the running of projects, whilst supporting the more senior members of the team.
Support the project teams in the design and delivery of mediumlarge scale projects, mainly in the residential sector but also, student accommodation and commercial sectors too.
You will have a particular focus on technical design and construction work stages.
Ensure all your projects are met within the given time frame and to an excellent standard.
Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
An interest in sustainable design would be beneficial.
