Programme Lead in On-Site Construction (Brick/Plastering).

Full Time. 37 hours per week. Permanent.

  • OSC Principles of Construction
  • OSC Construction of Cavity/Block Walls
  • OSC Construction of Solid Wall and Basic Arches
  • Health & Safety in Construction
A broad-based knowledge of the wider Construction sector would also be advantageous.


The successful applicant will teach across a range of full time and part time programmes to students typically studying from Level 1 to Level 3 including Construction T-Level core content based on prior industrial/teaching experience.


  • A relevant OSC Brick Level 3 qualification or equivalent and/or be able to demonstrate significant industrial experience in the Trowel/general OSC fields.
  • Level 2 in maths and English (GCSE Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent) as a minimum.


The Programme Lead role will include working closely with the Programme Area Manager to monitor courses and course data and plan programmes to maximise resource and funding.

Ensuring learner progress is tracked and maintained on College IT systems, and retention and achievement levels are maintained and improved upon are important features of the Programme Lead's responsibilities, as well as the development and implementation of systems/processes and other improvements to support the management of learning.
