Our client is a market leader in Animal Pharmaceuticals with a strong and well-establishedportfolio of products, and they are in the exciting process of launching new products over this year.
They are seeking a high calibre and motivated UK Sales Manager to join their talented team to sell and support the company's range of products across theUK.
Responsibilities:
- Optimise and manage sales team performance to develop a high performing team
- Develop others to achieve optimal performance and gain valuable skills that will translate into strong performance in current and future roles
- Make impactful databased business decisions to exceed performance goals
- Ensure sales activities are fully integrated across all business functions and customer segments and transparent through regular reporting
- To achieve national revenue and growth targets. Work with the team and individuals to set challenging performance goals. Direct individuals to focus on the core goals to maximize personal success within the team.
- Work to improve and reinforce performance of others. Coach the sales team through regular field visits, sales meetings and virtual communication tools to achieve personal and business growth targets. Clearly establish and communicate expectations and accountabilities.
- Monitor and evaluate performance, provide effective feedback and coaching. Identify development needs and help employees address them to achieve optimal performance.
- Facilitate sales and technical knowledge and skills, ensure the sales team is NOAH compliant and excels in technical knowledge of therapeutic areas in order to achieve competitive advantage.
- Undertake additional tasks as defined by the management team
About You:
- Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns and previous sales experience
- Effective and decisive leader in order to optimise performance
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decisionmaking skills
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
- Willingness / flexibility to travel
- Field based, circa 50% travel with occasional travel abroad.
- Proficient with Microsoft word/excel, CRM and rebate databases.
