Job Description:


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Year 1 teacher in planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that align with the EYFS curriculum
  • Providing additional support to individual students or small groups of students to help them achieve their learning goals
  • Assisting with classroom management, behavior management and the delivery of interventions
  • Supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities
  • Providing feedback and updates to the class teacher on student progress
  • Preparing materials and resources for lessons
  • Supervising students during nonteaching time such as recess and lunch

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
  • Experience working with the EYFS curriculum and providing SEN support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Initiative, confidence, patience, creativity and selfmotivated with a cando attitude.
