The Head Teacher and Governors of Parkhead Community Primary are seeking to appoint a motivated, caring, suitably experienced teaching assistant to work mainly within our Early Years and Key Stage 1 team.

We are looking for someone with
- a commitment to raising standards in our school
- a very clear knowledge and understanding of what excellent teaching and learning looks like within our environment.
- high expectations of children's work and behaviour
- the care and dedication to ensure that every child reaches their full potential.
- knowledge and a good understating of child development in Early Yeas and Key Stage - excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to attend meetings with professionals and parents as required
- a commitment to partnership working.
- the ability to work effectively within a team.
- a positive outlook

You will be required to carry out all duties as required within the level 3 teaching assistant job description.

This is a temporary position until 31st August hours per week, term time only.

Parkhead is a community school situated in the heart of Winlaton, Blaydon.
