CARD is a highly collaborative research center that aims to be a central hub for collaboration and cooperation.

The science performed in CARD is collaborative and team-based in nature and there will be a large number of scientists and research groups working with or at CARD with varied expertise and from around the world.

In the initial phase, CARD is focused on understanding biology, anchored in genetics; prediction and prognosis of disease; de-risking targets; and precision therapeutics.

Staff Scientists do not receive independent resources, although they often work independently and have sophisticated skills and knowledge essential to the work of the Center.

Although this Staff Scientist will be supervised by the CARD Senior Scientist, they will be interacting with the scientists from the IRP and scientific community at large.
