Reporting directly to the Learning from Deaths Lead, this role will support the delivery of the Trust's learning from experience agenda, ensuring that learning from events is shared across the organisationThe Learning from Experience Co-ordinator will support delivery of the National Guidance for Ambulance Trusts on Learning From Deaths and the Trust's Learning From Deaths Policy to ensure the organisation meets it obligationThey will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a Learning From Deaths information system, and for analysing, interpreting and reporting on the data contained within it

They will be responsible for co-ordinating and disseminating learning from the experiences of our patients and staff, and offer high level organisation, administrative, project support, reporting and written skills

They will develop and implement mechanisms for the dissemination of learning, e.g. newsletter, intranet page etc


This role is key to the strategic delivery and organisational development agenda of the Quality and Clinical Care Directorate and will work across the entire function and organisation as necessary to deliver its objectivesThis role will support the delivery of the Trust's quality and clinical objectives, which include patient safety and experience, quality improvement and quality assurance, CQUINs, and patient engagement.
