We have an exciting opportunity for a housing professional to join the Housing section of the Strategic Asset Management Team as a Senior Housing Officer, to provide an effective and responsive housing management service and deliver positive outcomes for our customers.


We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual with proven experience of supporting customers to sustain tenancies who is approachable, compassionate and has a genuine passion to support people.

You will need to be self-motivated and have the organisational skills to prioritise a demanding workload in a busy environment whilst maintaining high standards in service delivery across all aspects of the role.


In this varied role you will be involved in tenancy management from allocating and letting our homes, overseeing rent collection and arrears prevention, tenancy sustainment, safeguarding and will need to work proactively when supporting vulnerable tenants, to minimise tenancy failures.

As a senior officer, you will also be required to provide guidance and support to junior members of the team and contribute towards performance monitoring.


The role involves managing a demanding and complex caseload whilst providing a high quality customer focused service to our tenants, delivering tailored interventions and providing support that is understanding of the needs and reflects the varied circumstances of our customers.
