CATERING MANAGER - GREAT HOURS, MELTON MOWBRAY
Would you like to join a friendly team as a Catering Manager?
We are recruiting for a global facilities management organisation that requires a confident Catering Manager.
They offer great hours where you finish at 3.30 and have attractive company perks.

THE COMPANY:

The client is a well-known and established facilities management organisation. They offer stability, security and progression.

THE POSITION:

Full time, Monday to Friday 6am - 3pm.
We are looking for an experienced Catering Manager.
You will have direct reports which includes two chefs, Catering Assistants, Vending Operative and a Kitchen Porter.
The team work well together and describe themselves as friendly and dynamic and enjoy what they do.

You will be catering for a 60 covers a day, providing staff with a cooked breakfast option, and two cooked lunch options plus a pudding.

This role would suit someone who has worked as a chef in the past and has a qualification in catering.

You will be responsible for buying your own produce, creating the menu, ordering and you will be responsible for handling cash and banking.

You must have a passion for catering, have lots of energy and a flair for providing excellent food within a busy kitchen.

Although you won't be cooking regularly, this is a hands-on role that requires overseeing the catering team, helping staff whenever theyneed assistance, liaising with suppliers for best prices of stock, managing process and procedures and running a tight ship.
