Job description:

Import and export customs clearance and supervising staff.

Responsibilities include:

Import/Export Compliance
Clearance Instructions
Dealing with customs ports
Checking Documentation is Trade Compliant
HMRC compliance

Reconcile of MSS/C7

Month end duties
VAT/Trade testing
Supplier origin statements
Data management for commodity codes

Skills and experience:

Import / Export Customs compliance experience
Previous supervisory experience
Accuracy and attention to detail
Effective communication and presentation skills
Managing multiple priorities
Relationship management with 3rd party service providers, HMRC, Technical Tax & Trade COE, various business teams and support services (such as IT)
